Feilding Intermediate has a proud tradition of excellence in sports – across a range of codes. We have large numbers of children participating in sports teams and can cater for differing levels of ability, experience and competitiveness.

We have dedicated staff who provide coaching and support and many parents who volunteer as coaches and managers. All students participate in comprehensive health and physical education programmes and school-wide events, including Cross Country, Athletics and Swimming. There are also regular opportunities to compete against other classes and sometimes even the staff!
Feilding Intermediate participates in the Super Sport competition, which enables selected teams to compete against other regional Intermediates for highly sought-after 'Super Sports Champion' banners. We have a number of sports exchanges with other schools. One of our school highlights is competing nationally at the Zespri AIMS Game competition in Tauranga.
